Because we do all the work directly – from pick-up through disposal – you’ll benefit from cost savings and an improved customer service experience. We simply reduce costs by eliminating third party brokers, who transport waste outside the region.

We utilize the most environmentally friendly autoclave processing technology available, and all waste is repurposed for clean energy production. Our state-of-the-art facility has the capacity to process an impressive 100 tons of medical waste each day.

Answering Your Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Regulated Medical Waste

What falls under the category of medical waste?

Medical waste includes a range of items such as blood or body fluids, chemotherapy waste, contaminated animal waste, isolated waste, laboratory waste, pharmaceutical waste, sharps (needles, scalpels), and surgical specimens.

How should I properly package medical waste?

As the waste generator, it’s your responsibility to ensure proper packaging and labeling of medical waste. Start by placing a red bag liner into a sturdy cardboard box or plastic tote labeled “Biomedical Waste”. All biomedical waste should be placed inside the red bag and, when nearly full, securely tie the bag and seal the box using packing tape. A transporter label should be placed on the box.
